BIOGRAPHY

Maria Paola Coda (Italy, 1981) is a contemporary visual artist based in Spain since 2006. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, her artistic research focuses on abstraction, materiality, and the construction of emotional atmospheres through color and texture.

Her work is characterized by a highly expressive abstract language, where balance, spontaneity, and chromatic depth coexist. Through layers, transparencies, and contrasts, the artist explores the relationship between emotion, memory, and perception.

Since 2019, she has been represented by Villa del Arte Galleries and has participated in international exhibitions and art fairs in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, London, New York, Amsterdam, Hamburg, and Frankfurt.

Her works are part of private international collections.
