This series explores the relationship between light, colour and perception through a painting practice grounded in subtlety and gradual transformation. Through translucent layers, tonal shifts and variations in depth, the works construct open pictorial spaces that move between material presence and sensation.
Rather than representing landscapes, these paintings evoke atmospheric states. The image remains deliberately indeterminate, allowing perception to become an active experience in which depth, distance and luminosity emerge slowly and continuously.
The series focuses on the moment before the eye identifies a fixed form: the point at which painting functions as atmosphere, presence and visual experience. Within this space of ambiguity, light becomes a silent structure capable of shaping the perception of space itself.
